Stephanie Sandwich, CNM

About

Before becoming a midwife, Stephanie worked for several years at a safe haven for women who are homeless in the Greater Boston Area. It was while volunteering on a reproductive health hotline that she learned about midwifery and was inspired to become a doula. While attending labors as a doula, she was in awe of the care provided by midwives and knew midwifery was her calling. Midwifery education took Stephanie and her husband to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She is excited to return to New England to be near family and friends, and happy to join the AFA Team. Stephanie enjoys meeting patients and families where they are at and partnering with them to make healthcare decisions that align with their values.

Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, preferably near the ocean. She’s an aspiring runner, and enjoys trivia, cooking, baking, and knitting.
