AFA Obstetrics & Gynecology, PC, formally All Female Associates has been providing obstetrical and gynecological care in Concord since 1994.
Dr. Balcomb and the rest of our staff work together to provide you with the best possible medical care; understanding your unique and specific needs as a woman. We encourage all of our patients to discuss all your needs and concerns so that we can assist you in making the right medical decisions regarding your health.
We understand that our patients are time sensitive and our office hours and locations in Concord, Leominster and Westford, are in place to stress convenience. In addition, we have staff to facilitate your requests for medication refills, lab results or questions about your treatment, during normal business hours.
Our practice includes physicians, Ingrid Balcomb, MD, Emily Strehle, MD, Dr. Laura Silk, MD FACOG, Dr. Erin A. Sienkiewicz, MD, Dr. Diane Power, MD and Dr. Katherine Dertz, MD. Our Certified Nurse Midwives include Sherriann Perivolotis, CNM, Stephanie Sandwich, CNM Avery Fisher, CNM, Lauren Carratu, CNM and Krystina San Soucie, CNM. Our Nurse Practitioners incude Lesley Kenney, WHNP and Leanna Patterson, FNP. These providers, along with our support staff, work closely together as a team to provide the most expert and compassionate care that our patients deserve.
Nurse midwives are educated in the two disciplines of nursing and midwifery. Certified nurse midwives provide prenatal care, labor and delivery care, care after birth, gynecological exams, assistance with family planning decisions, preconception care, menopausal management and counseling in health maintenance and disease prevention. With our physicians and midwives working closely together, women with pregnancies that are at higher risk are also able to have the benefit of midwifery care at AFA Obstetrics & Gynecology,PC, if they choose.
Nurse Practitioners are educated in advanced nursing practice which encourages continuity of care; emphasizes safe, competent clinical management; advocates non-intervention in normal processes; and promotes health education for women throughout the childbearing cycle. The nurse practitioner is uniquely qualified to care for normal, healthy women throughout the life cycle.
