About

Emily started in women’s health working as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Mass General Hospital. As a bedside nurse, she realized her love for supporting patients during their most vulnerable moments. She then began pursuing her dual degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice to become the nurse practitioner she is today. Emily is a champion of evidence-based practice and seeks to make her patients feel safe, empowered, and heard. When she’s not at AFA, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and rescue beagle mix (Marty) as well as reading, gardening, and binging Netflix.
