MFM Services
Maternal Fetal Medicine(MFM) is a subspecialty of obstetrics that specializes in the screening, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care of mothers and babies with a pregnancy that is un-routine or high risk.
Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians have advanced training in the diagnosis and management of mothers who face unexpected problems during their pregnancy. MFM works collaboratively with your obstetrician, nurse midwife and at times other specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, pediatrics and more.
AFA Obstetrics & Gynecology, PC is pleased to work closely with Boston MFM and Emerson MFM, who are Brigham and Women’s physicians. MFM services are available both in our office with Boston MFM and through the radiology department within the hospital, Emerson MFM.
